  奥林匹克头脑竞赛  头脑奥林匹克竞赛(简称OM),创始人是美国新泽西州葛拉斯堡州立学院的教授塞缪尔·米克卢斯博士.他认为21世纪将是创造的世纪,世界的发展靠创造,墨守成规是一个民族走向衰亡的开始.于是他设计了大量创造性题目,于1978年在葛拉斯堡州立学院,组织了首届头脑奥林匹克竞赛,竞赛的新颖内容和独特形式受到了广大师生的热烈欢迎和公众的广泛注意.美国"公共广播系统(PBS)"还开设"半小时特别节目"进行介绍.OM活动很快在全美普及,并在各州设立了分会,接着OM活动又被推广到加拿大、英国、俄罗斯、日本等十几个国家.在1987年,头脑奥林匹克活动被介绍到中国.……
